Our neighbors across Jackson School Road! Baetje Farms, pronounced “Bay-G”, began when co-founders Steve and Veronica Baetje bought their first goat just over 20 years ago. As a hobby, they sought out the best way to make French inspired “Pure Artisan Farmstead” goat cheeses. Shortly after, they shared 88 heart shaped pieces of chèvre with the public for the first time at the St. Louis Wine Festival.  

Since then, Baetje Farms have won over 70 national and international awards for their cheese and is distributed throughout the United States. Visit them for creamery tours, award-winning goat cheeses, adorable goat sightings, and lodging.

This charming cabin features a warm and inviting interior with comfortable furnishings. There are 3 bedrooms with king beds and 2 full bathrooms on main level, a full bathroom & bedroom in the loft area that has a queen over queen bunk and a twin over twin bunk and two futons in the loft area. Outside, you will find large porches on the front and back, a BBQ grill, and a fire pit.

Located only 1.5 miles away from Chateau Ste. Genevieve winery, Baetje Farms, the Artisan and a 10-minute drive to the Terrace at French Village winery.

The Main Street Inn opened in 1880. It has remained an Inn for 144 years. It underwent a complete renovation in 2017 which maintained the historical structure of the house while modernizing all of the 10 rooms. Located on North Main St. in Ste. Genevieve near lots of shops, restaurants and more!

Located just 6.5 miles down Highway Y in neighboring St. Francois County, The Terrace re-opened in 2020 under new ownership and offers a full food menu, wines and specialty drinks - not to mention spectacular outdoor space!
